Do you feel the day of Love coming fast? It is time to prepare for that most memorable Valentine's Day gift for your special someone one.  Flowers and chocolates have been the staple in every Valentine's Day year after year. Why don't we take the celebration up a notch?

Touring this Valentine's Day is surely a unique experience gift to give your special someone.  While giving flowers and chocolates is usually one of the most affordable form of showing someone that they are special to you, why not spice things up and make your Valentine's Day gift more creative and adventurous?

Travel this Valentine's Day to spend a day or two in one of these romantic getaways

Take a Dinner Cruise

Whether it is out of town or out of the country kind of tour, a dinner cruise is really a romantic way of celebrating Love Day while looking at the silhouette of the nearby city skyline from the deck of the cruise ship.

Aside from basking under the moonlight and stars, enjoy the cool sea breeze while having a fine dining experience aboard a cruise ship where you will be serenaded by a live band. And when you are done eating, you can enjoy a nice slow dance with your partner.

Take a Scenic Train Ride

Do you both enjoy taking long train rides and looking at beautiful vistas? Then book yourselves in a scenic ride in the Bernina Express.  Escape the madness of the manic life in the city and board the Bernina Express from Milan to St. Moritz and the Swiss Alps to marvel at the breath-taking grandeur of Mother Nature.

Book a couple's wellness spa

Book yourselves a nice and relaxing couple's spa to enjoy Valentine's Day quietly. Southeast Asia is teeming with very affordable spa and wellness resorts where you can relax and enjoy the tranquility of the nature surrounding you.  Spoil yourself and your partner rotten with the amenities of a luxurious spa resort with a price tag that is not going to break your budget.

If sky is the limit in your budget, then a quick trip to Mt. Rigi in Zurich, Switzerland where you will find Hotel Rigi. You can dive in their mineral-rich bath waters both in their indoor and outdoor pools while basking at the beauty of the mountain panorama.

Wine tour

Wine connoisseurs will be happy to go to any wine tasting tour this Valentine's Day. Test your level in wine-tasting and enjoy complimentary wines from any vineyard offering wine tasting tours this Valentine's Day.

Going out of town or in a tour this Valentine's Day is really a one-of-a-kind experience you and your partner will never forget.

Good ideas. For a lonely person, I have no need for these as of now. But someday I'll take that train ride you mention.

I haven't rode a long haul train ride and that's the thing I want to try with my boyfriend. Hope we can earn much for us to go to Europe one day and spend Valentine's there. These tours are definitely on our next bucket list. :)

I'd love to do all four tours especially the wine tour because I don't know anything about wines. I would really like to learn more about them.
